About NASA SEWP VI

NASA's Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) is a Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) administered by the NASA SEWP Program Office. Any federal agency can place orders, and the program handles fair-opportunity competition through its own quote system.

SEWP VI runs a 10-year ordering period from November 1, 2026 through October 31, 2036. It supports firm-fixed-price, labor-hour, and time-and-materials task orders.

From requirement to award

SEWP orders move through the SEWP Quote Request Tool. Your contracting officer can issue an RFQ or RFI to EKIN directly or to all category holders.

Define the need
Draft your statement of work. EKIN can join a no-cost scoping call to help shape it.
Issue the request
Your CO sends an RFQ or RFI through the SEWP Quote Request Tool under Category B or C.
Receive the quote
EKIN responds with a technical approach and pricing, with a stated validity period.
Award the order
Your CO issues the task order. SEWP records it and EKIN begins work.

Ordering requirements

Fair opportunityEvery holder in a category gets a fair opportunity to be considered for each order, per FAR 16.505(b).
Listed items only in RFQsRFQ responses may include only items on the SEWP contract at contract pricing. Holders may otherwise respond "No Bid."
RFIs for new itemsAn RFI may ask about items not yet on contract. Holders may not market unlisted items until they are added.
Quote validityEach quote states how long it remains valid. EKIN honors orders received within that period.
Protected government informationInformation from the SEWP Contract Holder Only page is not shared with non-holders for unsolicited proposals.
Program feeThe SEWP fee is built into quoted prices. Agencies pay no separate charge.
